blacklisted ?

anyone here familiar with emule ?

well it said on one server my IP was black listed and i wasnt allowed to connect I could reconnect after an hour tho.

from what I gather from the website i have been leeching to much and putting to much strain on the server or something .

could anyone explain to me what blacklisted means does it have anything to do with the servers or is RIAA on my ass?

it means the RIAA subpoena'd your IP address, and now that you've tried again you're pretty screwed =( start formatting.

ah wait I think im not screwed yet form what I read I was aan agressive client reconnecting to much and requesting to muc and that got me blacklisted on that server for a set time to relieve stress on the server
Basicly i screwed up my credit and got kicked off I think.

By the way what does remove files form you computer and makes them inaccesible by anyone?

Don't use shit. Use standard eMule, or MorphXT eMule.

emule works with a credit system you collect credit by making things available to others and you get a certain ammount of credits per second or minute not sure.

making download requests and connecting costs credits so for ezxample if you are downloading 10 files and it costs 50 credits to start each file again it costs you 500 credits now if you only have 2000 credits and you reconnect 4 times to the same server in a short ammount of time 4 it costs you 2000 credits you get kicked off/you IP is blacklisted for a set ammount of time until you can get new credits and are allowed back on .

this system is created to relieve strain from the servers .
