AGP card...working as a PCI??

I have a 6600GT AGp8x from XFX and upon reformating my computer reinstalling WinXP_Pro, drivers and what not I ran into this problem;

My OS or Nvidia or whatever, thinks my card is PCI, it should be AGP 8x. I have tried the drivers that came with my card, the latest, and the previous latest drivers.

BIOS clearly shows AGP8x is enabled.

I have reformated windows 2 times while owning this gfx card, and I have never ran into this problem. I thought it was the latest drivers causing this problem but I guess not.

So plz help! I want to be able to play FPS at a good setting again -_-"

Well it seems that that FAQ did not help at all. I installed the latest drivers from Asus's site, and an AGP driver from AMD's site...but still nothing. I also checked to make sure that my BIOS has the AGP apeture half of my system memory (512mb)...

Anything else I can try?

Just a suggestion, AGP arpeture should be half your system ram, and no more than 256MB, whichever is lowest.
