Formating a New Drive

Just got a new computer together and went to install winXP. I got an error saying that the partition that it made couldent be installed too. So I am wondering how I would format the hard drive to NTFS as of now?

okay found that out... but my drive lettering isnt right

Right-click My Computer, choose 'Manage', open Drive Manager, right click on the drive whose letter you want to change and choose 'Change Drive Letter and Paths'. Bear in mind if you want to change it to a drive letter that's already in use, you'll have to change the letter of the drive that's currently using it first.
