external (non-plugin) Flash player

I'm looking for a program that plays flash files outside of a browser. I've seen a macromedia program that does it, but I can't find anything on Macromedia's website, and installing the latest verisons of Flash and Shockwave does shit, except add those plugins to my browsers.

So where the fuck do I get an external player?

mpc plays flash files.

It's included with Flash (not the player. the program you make flashes with)

Swiff player is decent, but I prefer Macromedia's native standalone player by far.  I've been trying to find a downloadable installer for the player but haven't had any luck.
