which board would you get if u could start all over again the K8WE or H8DCE or the gigabyte which seems to be a more improved version of the tyan offering. I'm more to the Supermicro route as you can tell from my posting on this thread. $ aside cause if your going to get a Dual socket server money $ most definitely cannot be a issue I think the gigabyte board is a better board than the tyan one so my choices would be the gigabyte GA-2CEWH or the Supermicro H8DCE. I know earlier on this thread I said i was gonna get the foxconn Winfast NFPIK8AA-8EKRS but you know how these things go 2 is always better than 1, well atleast in my world. So what do you guys say huh???If anyone else wanna aswer on this be my guest but try to keep it more than a one line answer cause i really dont wanna have this post get lost in a bunch of 1 line answers

Supermicro A+ H8DCE
Tyan K8WE
Gigabyte GA-2CEWH
Foxconn Winfast NFPIK8AA-8EKR

tyan for sure, tyan motherboards are like fridges. they run for years, with no problems. and give you obvious indication when they're going to die. none of this doa/dead in 90 days shit.

i havent seen that many run-on sentences in ages.but tyan for sure, they pwn.

i barely read any of that run on sentence, it just locked up my mind

if there was an edit button, i would change mine to say supermicro.

those things quite litteraly last forever, i have a dual pentium pro one that worked up untill the cpu fans died(running non stop for years, cpu fans died but the northbridge fan didnt :P)

Don't change these.
