Multiple email accounts on Thunderbird

So, just another "How do I shot web?" question...

I have my university email account on my T-bird and now I'd like to add there a couple of gmail accounts. How do I go about it? I know gmail has a nice step-by-step guide to it but I think it's meant for those that don't have any OTHER accounts on Thunderbird.

So, how can I use more than one email account on Thunderbird?

I believe it is very easy to setup, what you should do is look through the "help" or readme in Mozilla Thunder-Bird's documentation. Apply this information with the guide from google and I think it would all seem clear to you.

On the other hand, you could just see what google's pop3 email server is enter that information plus your account info and then see if it works. But then again I am not familiar with thunderbird.

right click account name > properties, then click the button that says add new account. specify pop/imap server settings and enjoy seperate inboxes.

Another way is going through the "Account Settings..." command.  It's in "Tools" on Windows and "Edit" (where it belongs) on other systems.  Just click on the "Add Account" button just below the account lists.

Don't change these.
