Lame mp3 encoding - help

Right so I have a folder full of mp3's 320kbps and I want to encode them all to 128kbps.
I tried with " lame -h *mp3 " but it just encodes one of them...
plz help w4ch c!

I take it you're not on Windows, then.
If you were, I'd recommend dbPowerAmp, which can transcode to whatever bitrate you want.

Try a frontend for LAME. RazorLAME is supposed to be quite good, apparently.

You could write a script. Perl's opendir() function to iterate through the files and then system("lame -h", FILE); in a loop.
