AMD Athlon 2.2ghz
Radeon 9800pro 128mb
ASUS Compaq MOBO, 4x AGP = highest AGP setting
400wat HIPRO Power Supply
The problem isn't cooling.
The problem probably isn't drivers.
The drivers I have tried :
ALL of the 3.x series
Newest Omega
The Custom Counter-Strike Omega Drivers
Newest DNA
Newest ATI
OH YEAH! My problem...
I can't get constant 100fps in Half-Life mods.
The only one I care about is Counter-Strike.
In two smokes I dip to 80, when there are multiple smokes AND multiple people on the screen, I dip toward 50s and 40s. I will sometime dip to 40s and 50s if there is just two smokes and one person.
If /g/ can't help me, please offer me the cheapest videocard that you KNOW, by experience, will get CONSTANT 100FPS in Counter-Strike.
