FAT32 read NTFS

Name: Wiggidy Waaaaa 2005-08-23 4:36

Hey guys could you give me a hand? I changed one of my harddrives to FAT32, which is my main drive cuz the crappy XP update disk I bought didn't let me do ntfs, now I have another extra harddrive that I Want to get stuff off of but it's NTFS and my computer can't read it.

So basically,
Is there a way so a computer running with FAT32 can read stuff off a NTFS harddrive(as a slave)

um, there should be no problem. windows should be able to read ntfs, no matter what.

If you're using any recent OS (Windows 2k/XP/2k3, linux, etc) this isn't a problem.

If you're trying to use DOS or Win9x, forget about it.

The hard drive format your OS is running off has no effect on what formats it can read. It all depends on whether the OS supports it. If you're trying to read an NTFS disk in an OS that supports it and it can't see it, there's something wrong with that disk.

Don't change these.
