quick help question

Copy & paste has stoped working
Drag & drop has stoped working
If i reset the computer it will work again. If i log out and log in it will _sometimes_ start to work again.
running windows 2000 pro. I have already done a full system scan for virus using norton. My version of norton is kinda old, so maybe it is a virus. however, ive noticed nothing else unusual.

any ideas on whats going on?

That happened to me when I killed all my services in XP. It has something to do with explorer, I'm pretty sure.. Did you disable any services lately?

You either are infected by Blaster, or have disabled the RPC (Remote Procedure Call) service. Set it to Automatic.

Yeah apparently Windows depends on RPC for simple things like this.
