Fucking ATI

I'm trying to play this game Close Combat: First to Fight and everytime I do, a large graphic anomally appears on the upper right diagonal of the screen (included from when the first video is played, through the menus, and on to the game where all the colors and objects are fucked up too).  The words on the menus are all scramble like some alien language too.  I've contacted tech support on this and they game me the usual "defragment computer...update video card" horse shit.  I have an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 video card.  I rand Windows Update for an update getting nothing.  I went to the ATI site and so far have found nothing that has helped me solve this issue.  I'm pretty sure it's the graphics card since I have more than the required specifications to run the game with optimal quality.  Someone has to know what to do.

Sorry, that's really the only thing to say.  As it's probably your drivers (do you have problems with all games, or just this one?), you can try non-ATI drivers.  They're still a bit dumb, but a touch less so.

This can happen if you've set the quality settings in the DirectX or OpenGL portion of the ATI settings too low. Try setting quality to max and see if this is still an issue.
