Video Codec Packs and whatnot

so what is the definitive codec pack/codec combo nowadays? is it still defilerpak? does one exist anymore? because i've seen some complaints about defilerpak, and people recommending installing other combinations of codecs instead.

The matroska pack is pretty leet.

If you mainly watch anime then CCCP is nice

I tried CCCP but I had to use the File menu to access subtitles in Media Player Classic with it. Otherwise, it was just as good as Theorica.

It depends upon what videos you play. All my subbed stuff and ogm stuff works with Theorica. As for the people who say download individually: if I did that I'd have about 10 add/remove installs on my listing.

Hay what if I get every codec in existence and install it just to fill up my hard drive?
