Windows and phone can't read the MMC

I was tranfering some files to my MMC via a cardreader when windows decided to gracefully crash. Now the MMC is unreadable in windows. And if i put it in my phone and try to start, it freezes.

Anyone know a solution or something i can do? Anyway to force the MMC to format?

Try a device with a formatting feature. My digital cam does.
