Spyware

I needs some help; need some programs, and don't mind spending some money to Spy/Virus/Ad/Malware-proof my nice new 160GB hard-drive. and yes i know there is no such thing as Virusware :3

at any rate; my windows firewall has disappeared ._.
ad-aware and norton aren't up to snuff; so can i have some ideas here?

That's just spam that goes out to every Windows user without a firewall. Thank Microsoft for that. Get Zonealarm and you'll stop seeing those messages. Then get Firefox and go to http://www.grc.com/default.htm and get UnPlug n' Pray, DCOMbobulator and Shoot The Messenger to quickly disable 3 of the nastier services that MS left running on your box. True, the firewall will block them anyway, but it's nice to know they're not running when you don't need them.
