how do I write files in DVD??

yeah I mean it sounds dumb but I really don't know how to. The thing is I used nero and tried to move avi filed in it(4GB). Then I waited for about 6 hours and it still didn't finish(never advance from 1%). Is there something wrong with it? The thing that makes me conveinced that it's not totally weird is that I can burn PS2 game in about an hour and I've done that several times. This is urgent. MY Drive is squeezing against each other so somebody give me a solution. Please.

Can't do it with Nero. Piece of shit, eh?

I got a free copy of Nero when I bought my DVD drive. Not only would I not use Nero anyway (bloated crapware) but I don't even have Windows. Oh well, it can be the King of Coasters and rule over my AOL CDs with an iron fist.
