so this asus a8v board has not been the friendliest to me. it hates my 9800pro and makes me run it at 4x instead of 8x. now the built-in ethernet is spazzing out on me...

so i'm thinking either i go for a DFI nforce3 or a geforce 6800 and pop in an old ethernet card. or i could quit being a whiny bitch and run it at 4x and use the ethernet card. any suggestions?

indeed, theres almost no way your could saturate a agp 8x pipe with a 9800pro, you probably wouldnt notice the diffrence between 4x and 8x
