Quick Kingston RAM question

Name: Anonymous 2005-07-13 4:01

There's three different models of RAM I'm looking at from Kingston. I'm going to plug these into a Toshiba laptop I'll be getting soon.

http//www.newegg.com/...

As far as I can tell, they have all the same specs. All are the same speed, pin number and capacity, but they are differently priced. I know that the KTT3311 model is the type of RAM used in the Toshiba Laptops, but it is also the most expensive. Are there any differences in these different models? Would they all work in the same slot?

Thanks guys.

I'm sure the difference is just the price you pay in 99% of cases. You can "feel" you've got something better by paying more for the same thing.

If specs are the same, the difference will be, at much, quality control. The percentage of defective RAM will be even lower for higher-priced RAM (in any case, you can return it), and higher-priced RAM will resist higher temperatures and last longer.

I'd go for the cheaper.

Don't change these.
