Firefox&Xwindows question

Is there any way to clear a textbox by say right-clicking it and selecting "Clear" from the menu?

Right now, to delete, I have to select the whole text and press "Backspace" or "Delete" and that destroys my clipboard.

position the cursor at the end (or maybe any other place) of the textbox and press 'ctrl' and 'u' on your keyboard. incidentally, pressing 'ctrl' and 'k' deletes from the current position to the end. i don't have firefox to test this, but both shortcuts should work with any modern x-toolkit.
