Seriously people, why bother with floppy disks when you can just as easily create a boot cd/dvd/pendrive.
I have not used a floppy disk for seven years now: FDDs are an ancient legacy technology that belongs in a landfill.

Not every machine out there has a bootable optical drive. For that matter, not every machine out there can boot from USB.

The floppy is a specialized tool that retains a certain utility for a lot of us.
