Archaic computing

Seeing as all technology moves forward, would you participate in intentionally using, supporting, or developing for older computers?  For example, old Apple computers, Atari computers, PCs, mainframes, etc.  Sort of like trying to live in the same "time period" of an outdated computer and using its software, or writing programs for it, like a Society for Creative Anachronism for computers.  

I personally wouldn't use an older machine regularly. But I do know that there are quite a few people out there who activly find and purchase ancient computer technology for their regular recreational use.
