Offering DIalup

I have a broadband connection, my friend does not. Hell he doesnt even have a regular internet connection. Does anyone know if its possible for my computer to work out as an isp for him? I want him to be able to call my house form his comp and have him connect to internet through my comp.

I see no reason why not. You'd need appropriate software of course.

any idea for any good software? Ive been trying to google this but I just keep getting actual isp sites trying to sell me their connections. Is there a name for the kind of service, ive been practically search using keywords like "host dialup server" and so on.
