Okay, I have a slight problem here, and I'm hoping someone can help.
I have three hard drives in my comp, two 80gig drives, and one SATA 250 gig drive. Originally, to set up the SATA drive, I used Western Digital's Data Lifeguard Tools that gave me a message that it detected a drive hooked up to the computer, and asked to set it up for windows XP. I did so.
Well, I had to wipe my computer and re-install last night, and when it was all said and done, the drive wasn't being recognized again. So I ran the program again, but this time it's warning about the data currently on it being erased. Nearly 100 gigs worth of data.
Is there some way to get XP to recognize the drive without having to format it again?
(If any additional info is needed, please say so and I will supply.)
