what packages needs to be emerged along with it on your system? It has some gtk dependencies i think, so if your emerging those with it, it will take some time ^^;
Also, looking on its size, it seems to be pretty huge :p 5megs of packed sources is for 10-20 minutes on this ol' celeron 1.8Ghz
