Do any exist for Windows?

And don't say "ZOMG MIRC," because it doesn't like Windows-64.

BitchX?

I would say BersIRC for Windows but I really prefer irssi for unix. Once you try that you can't get away :(

xchat

Name: Anonymous 2005-03-08 16:16

New versions of xchat aren't free anymore, at least for windows.

Not that it will stop anyone from compiling their own.

I dunno I use ksirc. It came with KDE. It's not uber but it does the job. I don't chat enough to bother finding the ideal client... which for me would probably run from the console.

Name: Anonymous 2005-03-22 14:39

So, the answer is no?

Name: Anonymous 2005-03-23 12:06

X-Chat 2 is "officially" shareware, but you don't have to register and the app will never tell you to do so (unlike new mirc versions which quit bugging you).

Name: Anonymous 2005-03-23 20:40

Silerex Build of XChat2 (free+opensource [unlike the offical builds]) http://silverex.info/news/

Name: Imaruki 2005-03-24 12:33

Chatzilla comes with Mozilla or you can download it from http://mozilla.org....it's a FREE IRC client

Name: Anonymous 2005-03-24 23:20

Pirch.  The only alternative to Mirc.

Name: Anonymous 2005-03-24 23:43

mirc

Name: Anonymous 2005-03-26 18:38

mIRC on windows, Irssi on Linux.
Use Irssi, it's good.
