seriously, solaris 10 is pretty decent. Everything's working on it (except my right mouse button), video, audio (which surprised me) and networking. The video's working because they include the XFree86 drivers during installation.
Has anyone else tried this out? Any thoughts on "open solaris"?

How strangely strange?

OMG audio!! 12 years ago when I bought a Sound Blaster, I DEMANDED it to work. I'd be surprised if it DIDN'T work, and I'd ditch that OS...

running solaris for no purpose is like running irix for no purpose
does that sound like an enterprise application to you.... looks more like hes running it on his desktop just cause 'solaariss' sounds cool it is from sun1!! they are the opposite of the microsoft billgaets righ? its cool to run their os even though its completely unapplicable to my purposes!
