seriously, solaris 10 is pretty decent. Everything's working on it (except my right mouse button), video, audio (which surprised me) and networking. The video's working because they include the XFree86 drivers during installation.

Has anyone else tried this out? Any thoughts on "open solaris"?

I've used Solaris. It's a nice OS, but I've got no real reason to use it at home.
