Why do you want a wireless mouse? Do you plan on using the mouse 5 meters away from your screen? In the bathroom, perhaps? Do you want an extra piece of junk somewhere near your box? And most importantly, do you want to waste your money?

its not just because of the wireless. Mx1000 is the first mouse in the world to have laser technology. dont confuse laser with optical.

laser is awesome accurate vs dual optical
wireless can be slightly laggy if you are an insane gamer, but otherwise its super convinient... like if you have a tvout and want to take the mouse/kb over the to the tv etc
i know some gamers who compete for money they all used wired mouses for that

I've had my MX1000 "Freak out" on me a couple of times, though it's very rare it still does occure.

No it wouldn't. Considering theres no delay at all.

read 6. it does freak out and after about 5 months the reciever will eventually dust up in unreachable areas thus delaying the signal.
