direct vobsub freezes my computer

Been trying to play a certain file using Media Player Classic and Zoom Player that has soft subs. I installed Matroska Lite and ffshow alpha then tried to play the file. Once the Direct vobsub icon shows up on my taskbar however, my computer freezes.

Also, my OS is Windows ME if that helps at all.

You are using the Unicode release of VSFilter.dll on a non-unicode OS. Use the correct dll. You should be able to google for a replacement.
