Are there any examples of mixed timing in western animation?

By mixed timing, I mean when the timing changes during the same shot during the movement.

As example, I've seen a jump movement where the timing switches between 2s and 3s. Yutapon does it in a very extreme way.
Sometimes he animates all in 2s and suddenly there are two frames in 1s or 3s.
It creates a certain feeling of tension and weight.

It seems like that's a common thing for japanese karisuma animators.
But I was interested if they have been doing this outside japan back then.

Please no offensive or racist comments, I'm just curious if any disney animators used this technique.
