Well I appreciated animation way before I was interested who were behind it.

If I were to say, what rolled the ball for my appreciation in animation fan was the opening sequence for SWAT kats. Hilariously enough I recently found out it was outsourced to Gainax. Mostly what really sparked my appreciation for animation wasn't entirely /a/ related. It was further strengthened by Tom and Jerry shows airing on CN.

From there on it just flowed and I came across shows like YuYu Hakusho, Eva, DBZ, Gundam Wing, You're Under Arrest, and for my underage faggotry back then, Kite!

I never cared about the who or what processes involves the anime I watched up until I came across Bones and KyoAni.

But even before that I followed a studio's work in general without looking into the details behind it.

What sparked the interest in staff members was based Yutapon(Soul Eater) and Kigami(Munto). Naruto's cuts impressed me back but it never intrigued me to look for staffs or even the director behind it.
