There's no way it won't be under KyoAni's brand.

It's funny how so many people think that this CM implies a full anime/series. Don't they know about the other CMs?
And even if Animation Do did its own anime, it would still be in Kyoani's name, one of the most powerful brands in the whole industry.

I saw it as Animation DO hyping up this particular CM in their site, not a full show. Maybe if we're lucky they'll do a ~30min OVA, but I don't think anymore than that. They're still a small studio and Kyoani would end up doing more in the show than them, so it makes no sense for DO's to hype the project up so much.
As for the staff, it does look like Nishiya but wouldn't it be more logical for DO's staff to have handled it?

Hiroko Utsumi would the the obvious choice for a director, since it seems like it's a pure DO project and she's the most prominent director in the studio. Also she's a fujoshi.
As for the designs, yeah, they look very similar to Hyouka's, but that could be a result of inbreeding. I'd say it's Miku Kadowaki since she always works with Utsumi.

I like Kitanohara but Utsumi/Kadowaki is the best Do team as far as I'm concerned so I'd love it if they were in charge of this project.
Lately we've been getting some cool news for these possible KyoAni productions. Knowing Ishidate directed the Kyoukai no Kanata CM made me hopeful he'd direct a potential adaptation. Spring should be a break for KyoAni so I'm looking forward to some announcements.

Tamako 9 was really good. Consistent animation for most of the episode, without any particularly notable cut but very fun to watch.
And the final stretch since Dad goes into the room with the guitars to the end of the episode was wonderful. Nao Naitou is really talented.

Very pleased with Tamako #9, Kigami sure is quite the director. The last quarter of the episode was quite the highlight. Animation was lively and consistent all round.
