What's yall's opinion on Vertigo Comics?

My must reads would be DMZ, Sandman(of course), Invisibles only if you like fucked up shit, Transmetropolitan, and Y the Last Man.

Any reason you h8/like a particular series or novel?

I've liked most of the Vertigo comics I've read.  Sandman is one of my favorites as well.  I'm also reading a series called Fables, which I believe is also published by Vertigo.  I don't really pay much attention to what publishers I'm buying from, though.

Garth Ennis run on Hellblazer (awesome as Garth Ennis can be), Scalped (awesome as noir meeting western can be) and Lucifer (awesome as the Devil can be) are good choices.

mike grell's green arrow stuff from before vertigo was vertigo (though it may have gotten the name at some point during publication. i don't remember) was really good. i just wish they'd collect it in trade form.

Right now I'm following Hellblazer, Fables, Madame Xanadu and House of Mystery, and boy those are great.

Vertigo prints some weird shit, but most of their stuff is really good. Sandman, Lucifer, Books of Magic, Y the Last Man, all of them were great.

Couldn't agree more!

I would just add Jamie Delano run on Hellblazer. It's good too, not awesome as Ennis, but worth reading anyway.
