What could this superpower really do?

Name: Anonymous 2008-12-19 20:21

The ability to alter the value of pi (3.14159...) within a short radius around yourself.

I think I remember hearing something involving becoming invisible.

The thing is, considering the number of things in physics that involve the value of pi, this could be a power that has an incredible number of uses. Or it could be something that causes the superperson to be deleted from existance the first time they use the power.

Considering the number of things that could go wrong when using this power, the user would have to be some kind of physics expert.

Normally I'd go to /sci/ with this question, but I don't think that they'd be very interested in this.

Hmm... good point. I suppose a limitation would have to be added that you can only screw around with Pi in a specific area that you can understand. Otherwise this would probably lead the superperson using this power to erase themselves from existance the first time they it.

I was originally thinking of this as a power that would motivate the character to do some research in order to find out new ways they could use their power, instead of the normal comic book method.
