Luffy digs himself out of the rubble of a fallen building, dragging out Penance with him.
“CHOPPER!” Luffy screams with his hands cupped to his mouth, “HEY, CHOPPER! THIS GUY NEEDS HELP!”
Laser beams strike Luffy in the back, sending him tumbling a goodly distance before crashing into a wall.
“Penance is one of my men, so we’ll take care of him ourselves.” Iron Man says as he floats down to land.
Luffy pulls himself up, eyes downcast, “You. You’re that metal man Hulk was talking about.”
“Iron Man, actually…Luffy, is it? Geez, a fool who calls himself a pirate like some eight year old boy. Going around the country, wrecking havoc wherever you go. You’re giving your friend the Hulk a run for his money in terms of property damage. But I digress. Son, you’re under arrest.”
“You said he was a monster!” As Luffy says this, he punches from the twenty foot gap between them. The punch is shot down by a blast from Iron Man.
“Bruce HAS become a monster. I once thought he’d be able to control himself, but so long as he remains the Hulk, no one around him will be safe.”
“You’ve thrown your own heroes into prison!” Luffy punches again, and again the punch is intercepted by a blast.
“Not heroes. People that care more about showboating and personal glory than the people they were supposed to protect. People like you.”
Luffy face is angry, “A girl…her father…because of you, SHE DOESN’T HAVE A FATHER ANYMORE!” This time, Luffy uses his gattling gun attack.
Iron Man starts firing his repulsor rays, “I don’t know what you’re—“
A punch gets through, striking Tony’s chest, “Shit! Don’t know why I even bothered to try and reason with you.” More punches get through, and Tony has to stop firing and raise his arms in front of himself for protection.
“Always want to do it the hard way…” Iron Man’s body starts to glow before an explosion of light shoots forth. Luffy is thrown back, and before he can get a chance to stand, Iron Man flies straight into him and carries him into the air, holding him from behind. Luffy flails around, but is unable to get any leverage for an attack strong enough to pierce the armor.
“A little birdie told me you can’t swim, so we’re going for a dip.”
Luffy bites down on his thumb, “Gear Third!” He blows into his arm, all of the air going into his ribcage, forcing Iron Man to drop Luffy. Luffy falls upside down, his arms at his side and his gaze is locked on Iron Man as he plummets.
“Rather slippery for a guy who’s supposed to be made of rubber.” Iron man flies down after him.
“Giant Gum Gum Thunder!” Two massive hands clap with Tony in the middle of them. When they open up, the armor is mangled, parts of it fallen off revealing his skinsuit and face underneath.
Luffy reaches out with non-giant arms and wraps them around Tony’s waist, “Ah…crap.”
“Giant Gum Gum Headbutt!” Luffy slams into Iron Man with, obviously, a giant head. Both then continue to plummet towards the ground, Luffy’s body slowly shrinking as they do.
“Why the hell is he giving all of his attacks names?” Iron Man says seconds before they hit the ground.
After the dust settles, chibi Luffy gets to his feet and dusts himself off. He then looks around, and sees that Iron man isn’t to be found.
Cut to Iron Man, flying away on the one jet on his leg that still works, “Stark to SHIELD. I’ve got a live one over here and my armor has been trashed. Have the Hulkbuster prepped for my arrival.”
