I apologize in advance for being off topic, but this is a question i think the 4chan community might know but it doesn't really fit into any of the discussion boards (i thought maybe it would fit better in here)
I used to have this toy robot arm when i was a kid (6+ years ago i think is when i got it, but i saw it in stores for a few years afterward) i got at a KBToys store in the mall. it looks almost exactly like this:
http://www.supercoolstuff.com/items/misc/nv1161.htm
but with a few major differences:
-The grabbing action happened closer to the robot hand, with the rest of the 'arm' being a plastic panel/shield that strapped to your arm, so basically it looked like you had a longer arm with a Terminator hand at the end.
-The articulation of the fingers were individual, being able to control each finger save the thumb with a sort of pulley system, with a ring for each finger, and a thin plastic strip going up into each finger to allow them to bend when you pulled on the ring.
-The arm came not only as a robot hand, but a skeleton hand. Both were the right hand only.
does anyone know what i'm talking about? I'm looking for the brand that made those toys to i can try to buy another one for a Halloween costume i wanna make for neat year. I've looked high and low on google with word combinations of robot, hand, toy, grabber, arm, articulated, skeleton, etc and i get nothing.
