Looney Tunes

Looney Tunes knew how to characerize American life in an honest, realistic way.  I'm not talking about the racist cartoons, I'm talking about Foghorn, Daffy, Bugs... the interplay between ignorance and wit, the rural and urban settings, the portrayal of the impoverished and common lifestyle, the attitudes and reasoning behind every personality... it all seems more honest to human nature than anything that's come since.  Most modern WB cartoons are shallow by comparison, with superficial characters pretending to be funny.

Even "realistic" cartoons with people still seem superficial.  Everything now seems artificial and mass produced.  I miss the honest look at human nature that Looney Tunes provided.

Don't change these.
