Transmetropolitan

I saw a few books over at the pawn shop in town and I was wondering if they're good enough to pick up.

only good mainstream american comic ever made.

It's entertaining but has no depth (so far anyway, I've read up to book 8). Still worth reading!

Examining the sociopolitical future requires character depth? I wish people would understand what literature is before reviewing it. Transmet is not about rubbing your balls and heart for a romantic tearjerker.

Furthermore, I found it to have more depth and genuinity than any other comic I've ever read. I would be interested to know what strained tripe you've read that you can call deep.
