Wow, this is my first time on World4chan becuase I came here hoping to find a comic thread to talk about The Walking Dead.  It is fucking -amazing-.  I can bet good money that this will be a major motion picture in a few years.  It all flows so well, but I'm sure it's completly by design.  All of the characters thrown together, almost randomly, but I can tell that each character was researched out, looking at all the zombie resources possible, placing each person in certian situations.  I think the best way to describe it would be serindipitous, and that's not a word I throw around often.  It seems like someone threw together, maybe because of the pacing, but it is all so quietly and creepingly perfect.  It seems like its end of the world zombie armmegedon perfection.  Every loss is beautiful, and seeing the characters in thier happiest times in these books is what is REALLY tragic, seeing the little kids smile makes me want to cry becaues I know what's coming, you know?  Amazing.

Most zombie scenarios do not focus on character development and then run out of interesting content so they quickly introduce the cause of the zombies like some demon lord, military/government virus research or a meteor from outer space which sets the deadline pretty early...

imo Kirkman is a fucking genius
