comic to manga

We have seen lately that Marvel and DC have been adapting some of their charas/licenses to a manga style some times with good results and other times with plain shit results.
We have seen them inviting real japanese artists like Kia Asamiya to work on titles like Batman or some chapters of X-Men but also they have tryed with some local artists that supposedly can draw manga like Pat Lee, Adam Warren, Kevin Lau, UDON, Ryan Kinnaird and others that i can't remember at this time.
The point is... If they could import more Japanese Artist for work on some of their other licenses/characters, who would you like to see working on what character/license?

I would like to see Masami Kurumada working on Wonder Woman so I could see her with some armour designed by him even if he knows shit about women's anatomy.

I also would like to see Masakasu Katsura working on Batman just because he has said that he is a great fan of him and would be cool to see what can he do on him.

And by the last I would like to see Nobuhiro Watsuki on X Men because he already have tryed to do something similar to this on Rurouni Kenshin.

Did anybody happen to check out the "I [heart] Marvel" mini-series last february? I kinda forgot about it until I saw this thread. It's supposed to have stuff by 'Slayers' creator Hajime kanzaka on it. Is it any good?

I liked that one panel of Batman Katsura drew in his I's run. Also, Watsuki was saying something about the character Venom in the Kenshin manga. He even drew a small sketch. Any idea what's all that about?

My dream project would be Katsura on Birds Of Prey. And...Akira Toriyama on JLA!
