Cartoon Network has jumped ship

"First, it started with the announcement of Wulin Warriors, which may or may not (debatably) be animation.

Then, a live-action pilot called Saul of the Mole People was announced for Adult Swim.

Now, it's final: Starting next year, the word "Cartoon" will mean nothing to this network's name. They will be airing full-fledged, live-action movies.

Yes, you heard me. This is not a joke. This is an actual commercial that aired on Cartoon Network. Their first movie on the list, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is understandable, but look at what else they picked up:

-Small Soldiers
-The Goonies
-Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves"

isnt it funny how the popular long running animes are always the same formula?

The first 3 or 5 episodes set up the series, and then it's all pretty much filler with an episode that relates to the over all plot of the series.
