Animation in music videos

I see a lot of music videos using different animation techniques, both 2D and 3D.  Do you think the studios that make these will ever make a fully animated TV series?  For example the videos for Gorillaz or Linkin Park. 

The Eminem video seemed interesting at first glance until I realized it was mostly South Park/Adult Swim flat style animation.

I highly doubt it, I mean whats the point to please a few fans? But you did forget a good anime music video, the ones for Daft Punk: Discovery.
