Excel loves American cartoons.

I've seen Simpsons tapes over there.  They were first season, so I'm sure no one liked them.  Not sure about South Park.

They do dub our cartoons and air them over there, I believe (I wonder if the elitists prefer to watch them in English?)...

SP's a big hit. With everyone...even yaoi fangirls.
DO NOT VISIT JAPANESE SOUTH PARK SITES.
*kaff* just wanted to warn people about that. I've come across two so far, they turned everyone bishie except Cartman, who looks like the fat guy on Tenchi in Tokyo with blonde hair.

I have multiple copies of Rex Nebular due to shipping difficulties with Microprose's mail order catalog. I wonder how much those'll go for...The humour's definitely up their alley, especially the Gender Bending part in the title.

I can't imagine the chinpokomon episode went over very well.

I was wondering the same thing.  Who knows.

The mass media of Japan says slander of Japan every day.
Since Japanese people are familiar with criticism daily, they can laugh at a south park purely.
Supposing Japan makes a south park uniquely, it will make a smashing success, if it is contents which extol Japan.
It is because mass communications of Japan will get angry if Japan is praised.
There is no freedom of speech in mass communications of Japan.
It is because mass communications will lose a source of funds (China and South Korea) if Japan is praised.

Yes, it's a parody of pokemon. The episode also has a lot of jokes about penises and old stereotypes that may not have played too well to a mainstream audience.

Name: Anonymous 2005-09-09 23:08

It would still be great to see their reaction to our stereotypes of their society

Name: Anonymous 2005-09-11 3:43

Well they do made manga version of Spiderma, Batman , etc.

Don't change these.
