Kids shows that could use an adult version

Ever look at something and wish it was more mature, serious, or had more realistic characters and plots?

McDonaldland- Ronald runs a totalitarian government enforced by various burger police chiefs.  Despite his almighty foothold, he cannot capture the elusive Hamburgler, who trafficks food through the double agent Grimace.

Homestar Runner-  Hoestar runner, but with swearing and frequent substance abuse.  Wait, that wouldn't good at all. 

Carebears vs My Little Pony- a darkier, grittier version of the two cartoon epics, in the tradition of Norse mythology, particularly during Ragnarok.  The bears represent the Valkyrie and lesser gods, while the ponies are mares of death, lead by the six legged steed Sleipnir.
