too fast and short, they underestimate even the american attention span
i gave it a smirk about 3-4 times... the brain on drugs chick hitting that little dog, the black kid getting checked into the urinal by a hockey player... hockey player skating through a public bathroom? meh.. pretty random i guess
the robot getting hit through the wall with that wrecking ball as he slowly walks toward the banana peel.... pretty random i suppose, though slapstick gets kind of boring eventually
show is overhyped on the whole, but ok
the cheezy clipshow host hanging himself as the credits role was a fun statement though, i hate how fake those shows are with the damn audience clapping away on some bargain decorated soundstage

That stuff was funny. And like the [AS] bumps pointed out, the show has both Seth Green and Seth Macfarlane doing voices, and that's just plain awesome.

It was alright, but I already felt like they were running out of gags in the second episode. That's a bad sign for the future.

If they were to extend the show to a full half hour, I expect the viewer's heads would explode from the comedy awesomeness of the thing.

Needs less random 3 second idiocy, more tearjerker moment spoofs, like with Optimus' anti-drug ad.

it's crap. it's amazing how something as awesome as [as] was turned so quickly into pure shit.

Usually 15 minutes is good for the kind of random weird shit humor AS shows are known for.
Robot chicken needs to be FIVE for it to still be effective.

The boneheads behind Robot Chicken and Tom Goes To The Mayor need to be killed in slow painful ways.

Optimus Prime's prostate cancer segment has been, by far, the best of the series. Although, the car race with Vin Diesel was funny too, and the Cabbage Patch Kids killing Chucky because they needed to absorb souls was pretty damn good work.
Robot chicken is filled with funny ideas, but it seems to rarely get at laugh out of me. I wouldn't say AS has turned to shit, but if it keeps showing stuff like this and Tom then im not sure good anime alone can keep it afloat

I think it's main problem is its gags aren't funny for longer than three seconds. When it's doing hte rapid-fire sketches, it's pretty funny, because it's just CONCEPT-CONCEPT-CONCEPT, but when it stretches out any of those ideas, the results come out like a bad SNL one-gimmick sketch (with the exception of Optimus Cancer which was pretty hysterical). The 12 Angry Little People was a perfect example; the gag is already over when he audience says "oh, 12 angry men, lol", and they can only really make it funny by arbitrarily killing shit.
I only watch AS every so often anymore, and that's because Family Guy's non-sequitur shit never ever fails to make me laugh. Venture's awesome too.
SIDE NOTE: The fact that they let advertisers do text bumps now totally kills their INDIE CRED that they'd been trying to get going with the bumps in the first place.
