I second Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Freakazoid, Angry Beavers, Pinky and the Brain and Duck Tales. I add Road Rovers to the list, because that show was funny.

Dammit, 9 beat me to it.  V_V

I'd have to say the list up top is quite comprehensive.  Especially the Batman animated Series and the Tick.

I just realized I really awfully miss Roswell Conspiracy. That's pretty strange cause I can't remember if the show was any good or not

Boxsets are out for the Batman AS.  Two as of this posting, if I recall right.

>>7

The ZIM boxset should be out sometime this year, if it's not out already.

Oh, and to everyone - check out TVShowsOnDVD.com for the latest news on all your old favorites.  You can even vote to see what shows should be on DVD.

And I'll second every show mentioned so far, and add Rescue Rangers to the mix as well.

Mission Hill, such a great show doomed to be shown at 1 on saturdays on adultswim.

Voltron 'uncut sub' is kind of impossible since it was one of those completely rewritten shows, and 20 episodes of the Voltron were custom made for the US version, so no Japanese counterpart exists.

>>14
Seconded on Centurions. Mysterious Cities of Gold is a given as well.

Dangermouse is finally hitting DVD.  I came when I saw this.

Is Wing Commander gonna be released? Preferably without the retarded-as-balls USA network Xover episode? I have no clue whose idea it was, but I hope the CEO of USA backed over his ass on the way out. Multiple times. That killed their entire animation line. Sad too, it looked like they would eventually have gotten more mature, and possibly mirrored the storyline of the first two games.
Second query, is/has Darkstalkers been released? I don't know why, but for being one of those series where an idiotic kid is dropped in for no apparent reason it wasn't half bad. Design felt a tad bit committee, but I remember liking it. Lucky fucking kid too, you just know if that were real there'd be a lot of kittengirls running around.

FUCKYEAH
lol'd at the fanboys hating on DarkUS.
LIKE ANYTHING ELSE THE US MAKES RELATES TO THE SOURCE MATERIAL! Fucking nitwits.

Name: Anonymous 2005-05-11 19:36

DVDs are cool and all, but i'd rather a network decided to show all these show again, I imagine gathering all those rights would cost a lot though.

That coupled with most corps being run by bean-counting ninnies is why DVDs are the only current option. I guess you could try and talk to small local stations ala the Moonies and Trekkies.

Name: Anonymous 2005-06-03 8:02

I want Mighty Max dvd's and I second Exosquad that was a damn good show

Name: Anonymous 2005-06-16 23:53

Dangermouse on DVD? What about Count Ducula? I do remember it's from the same creator as Dangermouse and Count Ducula first appeared on that show I think.

Name: Anonymous 2005-08-15 5:08

I think it just got canceled, didn't it?

Name: Anonymous 2005-08-15 11:54

>>34

Yeah.  Thus the unresolved ending.
