Beast Wars

Am I the only one who liked Beast Wars? I thought it kicked ass! Especially when Optimus Primal combined with Optimus Prime's spark and he turned into a bigass tank/airplane. Great voice acting too. Rattrap was funny as hell.

Code of Hero (the last episode with Dinobot in it) was the best friggin' episode.  Mainframe kicks ass.

no, Transformers ruled ass, then beast wars came. What aload of shite

Nothing beats the original Transformers, especially not Beast Wars or Armada.

It's all personal preference.  Some like the original more, some like Beast Wars more.  I haven't seen many claim to like both equally.

I think beast wars had cameos by alot of the old transformers too. I remember when optimus primal met prime and you saw the size difference of prime being 2-3 times bigger. That was awesome. I also remember an episode with a transformer who could transform into a cassete tape. I think he was a puma or something.

They had an episode with starscream, too... no one beats starscream in any series, even armada (vomits).

Beast Wars has plenty of fans, I always hear about how well written it was.

Personally, I hated it. Awful CG and robot animals ain't Transformers to me.

I thought it was very well written. And the voice actors for Megatron and Optimus Primal were great. Especially megatron.

I far prefer Beast Wars to any other Transformers series I've seen. Robots that turn into animals>>>>>>>>>>> robots that turn into vehicles...

I really started liking the series when they started to mutate and change from animals to vehicle/animal hybrids. Rattraps hotrod body kicked ass.

Yeah, that was badass.

He took over Waspinator and was kicking everyone's ass.

The US version is incredible compared to its original incarnation. Check out the Japanese version some time, annoying cookie cutter wapfag styled anime. Complete with retardedly cute mascot Stampy and angry loli Artemis. (Who looks more like a Megaman character...) And recon Decep Laserbeak gets replaced by a Pokemon-lookin' bug thing, I think. What the hell is up with the name Tazmanian Kid, by the way? Sounds like a cowboy from New Zealand.

I couldn't locate a good site for screenshots but I located the next best thing. A cel-crazy fangirl who actually LIKES that series. Take a look.

I think the American version came first, and the Japanese later made their own sequel after it got to Japan (and butchered the original 4Kids-style, I hear)

Also, Dinobot > all.

Really? Bizarre. Maybe it was retaliation for us doing it. Too bad they didn't ever figure out Mainframe is barely even remembered over here now.

Did you know: Battle Beasts were originally Transformers who didn't transform!

I like Beast Wars. I love the approach they had. I like G-1, too but I wish it was made the way BW was. TF:TM is the closet it got.

This was by far the best American animated series to come out during it's time. Beast Wars, ReBoot, and the subsequent 3D movies / independant productions (Eye Drops was a showcase) marked the transition of the American animation industry from 2D to 3D. Titan AE, Sinbad, Atlantis, and Treasure Planet came nowhere close to 3D hits like Toy Story and The Incredibles in terms of revenue.

Don't change these.
