Fuckin right. But the guy went out the best way possible: immensely respected and still at the top of his game. I just wish he'd lived to finish "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," because that really could have been awesome.

I never really liked his comics but I do appreciate his efforts into making comics more established in the academic & philosophical fields.

His comic "The spirit" made it's way to us here in Denmark, where it stayed ahead of it's time for close to forty years. I'll miss Eisner, but I am also very comforted by the fact that he left such an overwhelming abundance of great art and stories.

RIP. ;-; Isn't he the fellow who coined the phrase "Sequential Art" for comics? Its a bit sad that he died, especially since he was such an impact on the Comics Community.
