A clever collaborative comic made possible by an early console-like stylized and deliberately simplistic style. It's quite unlike today's glut of anime-style webcomics and the dialogue is entirely in pictorial form, making some comics a deliberate puzzle to understand, but remaining equally comprehensible to foreign readers such as our Japanese forum posters.

I didn't like the cameos.

They're usually insider jokes. Sometimes you can work it out, but others (such as Kermit from the short-lived sprite-style webcomic Space Punch) are more obscure.
