Murakami's "Sleep" ending

I thought the ending was typical Murakami, but on review I notice the narrator says "there's something wrong" and I think that is meant to be a clue. Like, the whole story was a dream past a certain point and towards the end it becomes a nightmare. Or something. "There's something wrong. What could it be?"
