Anybody here written their own books before? Even better, had something published?
I'm in the middle of writing a very loosely autobiographical quirky romance story, with some light hearted elements. I'm drawing from a lot of my own experiences and emotions to really shell it out, a lot of the characters being based on people I've met throughout my years so far etc etc :)
I'm really enjoying it so far and just wondered whether there was anybody else out there who'd want to talk about their own projects?

At the moment i'm writing (i've started writing pretty much two days ago, but i guess it stills valid) a transgressional fiction, not much details to give. Just started writing. I hope i can overcome my procrastination and finish it.

i've written enough prose to fill a notebook or two. it's hardly coherent, but i still might pick some favorites and submit them to somebody, somewhere, sometime.

I tried writing for NaNoWriMo last year, but all I've written before is poetry and essays, and I had no real plan for the project. Trying again this year; I have a friend who wrote a semi-autobiographical novel about coming of age as a girl.

I'm currently writing a psychological horror. My expertise lies in light hearted stories, but this is something I'd really love to be succesful in. I figure if I submit my completed opus magnum to everyone, someone is bound to publish it. I need some money :P Just a little effortless income would be nice.

ive written a book about a year ago
its made up of about 6 short stories and its 25 pages long (never published tho)
id thought this was the most common first book, at least from ppl i know, but i see u guys are more into fictional autobio novels
im writting a psychological drama novel rite now also
im at page 6
ill tell u how it turns out later, my goal is to finish it before new year
