I'm trying to remember this picture book I enjoyed as a kid. It MAY have been a retelling of some old folk tale. It involved a guy, possibly a chef or pottery dude, who makes a boy out of clay or bread, I'm pretty sure clay. Anyway, he makes this thing and it starts running around eating everything and becomes a menace. Then, he eats a bull or something and it breaks him open, I believe. I may be remembering any given part a little bit off. Can you help?
